If you have a love for music, singing is a great activity to take up. Whether you want to pursue it as a career or simply as a hobby, singing helps you develop your rhythm, pitch, and self-confidence. This course is open to everyone who wants to improve their technique and personal performance, and I offer guidance on vocal phrasing, rhythm, enunciation, and song selection based on your vocal range and preferred genre. Additionally, I provide piano accompaniment, personalised exercises, and various methods to enhance your vocal skills while having fun exploring the beauty of the voice.

Whether the classes are online or in-person, all necessary materials for vocal warm-ups, exercises, etc. are included. In the case of face-to-face lessons, a speaker or amplifier may be helpful, but if needed, I can provide any necessary equipment, including a microphone, laptop, and soundboard, keyboard.

Let me express my passion for teaching my instrument and emphasize the utmost importance of developing a deep understanding of sound and rhythm. We will embark on an extensive journey that includes ear training through singing melodies, exploring scales, diving into harmony using the piano, and even a little music theory if you are interested.

Our focus will be primarily on honing our listening skills, as that is the key element. Note that our approach to learning is not to read music notation or rely on written material. We want to enjoy it, and if we ever choose to transcribe music, we can take the opposite route. We will learn to feel the rhythm and then put it into written form.

My name is Yiannis , I'm a third generation trombone player and I've been playing the trombone since 9 years of age.
In 2017 I got my Trombone Diploma in Greece and since 2018 I have been studying Classical trombone at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I graduated from with a Bachelor's degree.
I've had teaching experience from Greece and here alongside my bachelor's degree i acquired followed the minor in education.
Teaching is really a very beautiful and enjoyable process from which both teacher and student learn a lot!
I'm very passionate about music, and I'm able to teach you both classical trombone or pop if that's your cup of tea!

Bandoneon is a very well know instrument for playing tango, in fact it's part of the genre's DNA. However,
not many people know that the instrument was constructed in Germany and some people even say it was supposed to be used as an portable organ.

This means that the Bandoneon has a technique that is independent of any genre. This technique is not found by coping other instruments such as the organ or keyboard but through the development of the nature of the instrument. This is mainly the importance of the air and how it is affected by the pulling and the movement we make when we play.

Of course Tango will be an important axis of the lessons as it very important for the development of the instrument and for specific techniques but Tango won't be the starting point as it's not the best pedagogical tool for learning the instrument. But no worries, we'll get there ;)

Have you ever wondered how a Gregorian chant, Bach, Mozart & Chopin might sound in the bandoneon? The results might surprise as you would get a very different sound from the one you are originally used to. Also, we can try and use the bandoneon for different and new genres, who knows what we might discover from the instrument along the way?

I am offering lessons in playing the traverse modern flute as well as historical flutes and music theory at any level, from the beginner to the professional.

I teach from international method books and adjust my methods to the individual needs of each student. Taking two courses of the Alexander technique also helped me to develop an understanding of the essential connection between the body and our minds. This awareness can be very helpful not only for our musical performances, but also for our everyday lives. Dhrupad is a sophisticated art form of Indian Classical music. At the core of this music lies the practice of Kharaj, which involves early morning vocal exercises. This practice effectively strengthens the vocal cords. In addition to this, the main lessons will encompass the practice of Sargam in Ragas like Yaman or Bhairav, followed by Alap and composition practices.

Hi! My name is Zoë and I am an oboist. I have completed a Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University and am now starting my Master of Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag. I love to share my passion for music with others, and in my lessons you will learn about music that interests you and most importantly, have fun!

I have been teaching for six years. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities, in individual lesson environments, group lessons, reed making lessons, small ensemble tutoring, and orchestral tutoring. I have experience with all genres of classical music, and have a strong background in music theory, aural skills, musicology, and composition. Lessons with me will incorporate all skills involved to become a well rounded musician.

Some of the highlights of my musical career so far have included being principal oboist and orchestral manager of the Australian National University Orchestra and performing E. Goossens' Oboe Concerto at their 2022 Concerto Gala, playing tutti oboe in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, principal oboe in the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra's Young Mannheim Symphonists Orchestra, and performing in the Olive Trio, a chamber music ensemble consisting of oboe, violin and harp, made up of members of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

Of course Tango will be an important axis of the lessons as it very important for the development of the instrument and for specific techniques but Tango won't be the starting point as it's not the best pedagogical tool for learning the instrument. But no worries, we'll get there ;)

The results might surprise as you would get a very different sound from the one you are originally used to. Also, we can try and use the bandoneon for different and new genres, who knows what we might discover from the instrument along the way?

Do you like music? Are you thinking about playing the flute? Or are you already a flute player and you wish to become advanced? Do you need someone to help you to prepare for music exams? I am offering lessons in playing the traverse modern flute as well as historical flutes and music theory at any level, from the beginner to the professional.
This course, based on more than 10 years of experience in teaching, offers private lessons where everyone can find their unique contact with their instrument, deepen their relationship with music and develop a unique way of expressing themselves through music making.
I teach from international method books and adjust my methods to the individual needs of each student. Taking two courses of the Alexander technique also helped me to develop an understanding of the essential connection between the body and our minds. This awareness can be very helpful not only for our musical performances, but also for our everyday lives. I believe that my already 10 years of teaching practice has shaped my teaching into a stage where everyone can learn what they need.

Dhrupad is a sophisticated art form of Indian Classical music. At the core of this music lies the practice of Kharaj, which involves early morning vocal exercises. This practice effectively strengthens the vocal cords. In addition to this, the main lessons will encompass the practice of Sargam in Ragas like Yaman or Bhairav, followed by Alap and composition practices.

Hi! My name is Zoë and I am an oboist. I have completed a Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University and am now starting my Master of Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag. I love to share my passion for music with others, and in my lessons you will learn about music that interests you and most importantly, have fun!

I have been teaching for six years. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities, in individual lesson environments, group lessons, reed making lessons, small ensemble tutoring, and orchestral tutoring. I have experience with all genres of classical music, and have a strong background in music theory, aural skills, musicology, and composition. Lessons with me will incorporate all skills involved to become a well rounded musician.

Some of the highlights of my musical career so far have included being principal oboist and orchestral manager of the Australian National University Orchestra and performing E. Goossens' Oboe Concerto at their 2022 Concerto Gala, playing tutti oboe in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, principal oboe in the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra's Young Mannheim Symphonists Orchestra, and performing in the Olive Trio, a chamber music ensemble consisting of oboe, violin and harp, made up of members of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

I began studying classical piano and music theory at the age of six, which gave me a strong foundation in musicianship from an early age. Later, I completed a bachelor's degree in World Music with Ottoman Singing as my main subject, allowing me to go beyond the basics and offer additional expertise in areas such as makam theory and microtonal singing. I also hold a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which helps me approach teaching with both creativity and structured thinking. My interdisciplinary background has taught me to embrace diversity and think outside conventional boundaries — something I aim to bring into every lesson.
