Piano Lessons for beginner and intermediate level students

Are you willing to learn how to play the piano? In this class, you can learn how to play this incredible instrument, as well as develop music theory knowledge such as reading scores, basic harmony, and rhythm. You will also learn how to develop your own musical ideas and find a personal way to express them!

Students of all ages can contact me to follow private lessons live in Brussels or Antwerp or online (via Zoom). I am a classical/jazz-trained pianist and composer who graduated "magna cum laude" with a Master's degree in Composition at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp. As a pianist and music teacher, I have several years of experience in private and public schools in Italy and I'm now teaching at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp. I am familiar with the classical and jazz repertoire as well as with 20th and 21st-century music. I'm passionate about introducing this beautiful and exciting field of art and its related knowledge.

If you don't have any music experience or if you already know music and want to develop or study a particular argument, my classes focus on the construction of a personalized study trajectory and methods based on the level, interests, and expectations of the student! The most important thing for me is to keep creativity and interest always stimulated for you to develop or continue to grow your love for music!

Monday and Tuesday I can teach only online. I can give lesson in person in Antwerp only on Wednesday.

Über mich

My name is Davide, I come from Trani, a small city in south Italy. I started learning music and playing piano when I was 6 y.o. and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Artistic Research (Composition) at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp/AP University. As an artist, I consider myself an explorer of sounds and I'm always searching for new ways to express myself. With my students, I love to share experiences, enthusiasm, and music knowledge always searching for a personalized approach.

Collaboration with Institutions such as S.A.E. Institute of Paris (FR) and Centre Henri Pousseur (BE), and HISK (BE).
Student in the composition advanced course of the Accademia Chigiana summer academy held by Salvatore Sciarrino (2021).
Honourable mentions at the Luciano Vincenzoni Prize 2020 score music competition, at the London and Athens monthly film festival with the short "Movie How To Be Kong" by Riccardo Monica (2020).
