Fine Art Tutorials in drawing, painting and other mediums

I teach fine art with an emphasis on painting and drawing, you will learn how to draw using charcoal, graphite, pencil and paint using oils, acrylic, ink and watercolour. However the lessons are deigned to experiment with as many materials and approaches to making art as possible in order to for you open up your practice.
The tutorials are also designed to engage in critical thinking, discussing your work in an informal but constructive way, and learning about art history by looking at other artists past and present.
Art is about being passionate and finding something you want to express in a visual language, and I’m here to help facilitate your vision.

Über mich

I’m a 39 year old practicing artist with a studio in Limehouse. Im trained as a painter but my practice involves adding 3 dimensional elements to the paintings.
The way i structure my tutorials is firstly based on a discussion around materials either prior to the lesson or during, these can either be brought in by me or ordered in advance. I also often bring unusual materials from my studio to make the tutorial surprising and fun like bits of expanding foam for example.
The tutorials are centred around a response to the activity taking place, opening up new dimensions either by introducing new material ideas or through a thought process.
I’m a caring person who values passion, hard work and focus.

I have two and a half years of experience teaching a family of 4 in South Kensington, ranging from a 5 year old to a twelve year old.
I was a visiting tutor at Blake College in 2019.

You will practice and experiment to fully master a medium or a technique, will support your practice with Art and Colour theory, Perspective, and History of Art, in order to start easily drawing yourself, interpreting a favourite scene or a subject on a paper or canvas, and will create you diverse and appealing collection of artworks with attention, imagination, and excitement.

Have you always wanted to pick up a creative hobby? Do you like creating beautiful things with your hands? Why don't you try out crepe paper flower making? It's a relaxing hobby and you get to decorate your home with your projects or give them as gifts to special ones.

During one session (120 min), you will get to create a small floral arrangement of your choice and take it home in a vase. All materials are provided.
