My name is Miguel and I'm a Portuguese composer, singer, and keyboard instrumentalist with a Master's degree in Music Education, a Bachelor's in Music Theory and Choir Conducting, and another one in Music Composition. I'm currently doing a Master's degree in Music Composition and a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Studies at the Royal Conservatorium in Antwerp. I love learning and I want to share this love for learning with others, so join me and take the first step in your musical journey!

European Portuguese by the Oral Direct/Natural Method

These classes make use of modules in the oral Direct method, in which there is a comprehensive interaction spoken solely in Portuguese that is aprehended by context, this makes this method similar to the kind of learning we experience when we are first learning our mother tongue. Whenever necessary we can switch to another language between the modules, which are complemented with explanations about grammar and pronunciation when needed. These explanations will be articulated in English, but contact me if you prefer them in another language like Spanish, Italian, French, German or Dutch.
Our main focus is going to be on orality at first, so we will use the international phonetic alphabet to take notes about pronunciation, but we will gradually incorporate the written form of the language in our classes and it's orthography.

I am a concert pianist with a degree in piano and pedagogy from the Zurich Conservatory. I am not only passionate about music but also about teaching, which is my vocation.
I teach all levels and ages and all styles of music. I do not rely on a single method but on several methodological works. This allows me to offer students a greater variety of pieces, especially for beginner levels, and to choose the most suitable piece that will best help the student progress.
I take into consideration my students' musical tastes and arrange their favorite pieces so that they are accessible to them. Music is and should remain a pleasure.
Music theory is only covered when necessary, but it is possible to go into more depth if the student wishes.

I specalize in composing music for ensembles, soloists, and orchestra - with a Masters of Music Composition from the Koninklijke Conservatorum Antwerpen. My goal is to pass along knowledge and coach young musicians who wish to create their own music, either as a composer, or simply to stimulate their own performance practice.

I have a background of classical, folk, and various popular music styles including heavy metal, rock, pop, etc.

Cello Lessons for all levels:
My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Whether or not my students decide to pursue music as their main profession, I believe they have much to gain from learning the cello. Besides the discipline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :)

Conservatory Preparation:
In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 9 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable of providing.

Hello everyone, my name is Camilo, I can from a little town from the south of Spain, and I was student of Royal Conservatory of Antwerp based on trombone. I studied my Bachelor and Master here, where I still live. I love to teach since few years ago I had some students for both trombone and music theory.
