Hey, my name is Robert.

I am 22 years old and are currently studying European studies at UvA. I am from Denmark and last year I worked as a teacher at a private school in Vejle, Denmark where I primarily taught math and English. I will be able to tutor social science and English on a level equivalent to secondary education. Math however I will only tutor on a primary school level due to my knowledge of the subject not being as proficient as the other two. My native language is Danish, but my English is almost as excellent as my Danish and I will be able to tutor in either English or Danish however I do not that I do not tutor in Dutch. I am good with children, always smiling and happy so I would be able to tutor children as well as adults. I sincerely hope that whoever reads this will consider me as a tutor.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and besides I teach private students.

Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch and face-to-face or online, depending on the location.

If you are struggling with a specific subject, we can look together at what you are good at and what we can best focus on during the sessions. A few subjects that I have coached students in in the past are: mathematics, business economics, economics, arithmetic, accounting/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management and investments. I give tips on which information is most important, how you can best prepare for the subject, and how you can best read test questions. This method has proven to be very effective!

During exam training I work with old exams with a focus on the latest developments in the field.
