Hi, my name's Alex, and I'm a singer and a film composer. My interests lie in the area of contemporary jazz and electronic music. If you or your friends are interested in immersing themselves in the world of music, I'd be thrilled to have you as one of my students!

I started to sing even before being able to walk (at least my mom tells so) and the confidence of making singing my profession grew stronger year in year out. Jazz came into my life with the recordings of Sarah Vaughan, Bill Evans, and John Coltrane, and since that moment I realized that I want to devote my life to music. In jazz, I was attracted by the freedom of self-expression and its diversity. Wanting to know the depth of this musical language, I started to discover piano playing and jazz improvisation, taking Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, Barry Harris, and others as a benchmark for me. Now I would want to share my knowledge which I got through years of experience and theory with other people who are as fond of music as I am. During the lesson, we will dive into the basics of rhythm, harmony, and improvisation and later will elaborate our skills according to these topics trying to find a way of expressing ourselves through the sound.

- Holding the master - class (theme «I Sing Jazz»), Saint- Petersburg;
- Participating in the festival of jazz male singing «Jazzman», Saint- Petersburg;
- Performing with Mussorgsky Big Band on a regular basis;

You will start to enjoy playing the piano both during and outside of the time of the class. You will learn how to be able to perform in a way that inspires your audience. I will teach you the basic music theory without going way deep into it because this is a performance class but you will learn what you need to excel in your performance. Additionally, I will teach you the principles of aesthetics of playing the piano. The repertoire that I focus on is mostly Western modern and Classical music, but we can also work on some famous Persian and Turkish pieces if you like. Of course, you are also always welcome to bring your favorite pieces to the class. Contact me for availability.

Hi, I'm Philip!
I'm a professional Bass player and teacher based in Amsterdam.
I have studied with some of the best teachers in Europe as well as famous bassists from the New York Jazz Scene. Besides my studies I have been actively performing, recording and teaching since age 16, which led me to play at different festivals and venues such as North Sea Jazz, JazzOpen Stuttgart, Bimhuis, DeDoelen Rotterdam.
I'm calm and easy going and I want to pass on the knowledge I got from my teachers as well as my own experience. I always focus on getting you ready or better at playing in a band, since that's what we do as bass players! I'm experienced in and open to a wide variety of styles, my specialization being Jazz.

My name is Ben (26), and I'm a certified drum teacher with about 15 years of experience behind the kit. Previously I have studied jazz drums at Kunstuniversitat of Graz. Currently I'm teaching at multiple institutions in Amsterdam such as: Lucky Beat Music Club, United Pop, British School of Amsterdam.

As a certified drum teacher (Amsterdam Conservatory), I have my own teaching practice in the Q-factory in Amsterdam East/Oostpoort: Drum Practice East. I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. My desired goal as a teacher is to show you an easy and fun way to master a new skill or some new aspects of it, but not to fill your head with unnecessary things that will make your progress hard and slow.

I have studied with some of the biggest names of classical and jazz trumpet worldwide like: Omar Tomasoni, Miroslav Petkov, Reinhold Friedrich, Chris Colleti and many more.

Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam.
