I am a native Greek speaker coming from Cyprus and I just graduated from King's College London, studying History and French. I'm 23 years old and I'm currently working as an intern at De Appel in Amsterdam.

I aim to provide students a pleasant learning experience that will meet their needs and help them achieve their true potential. I put emphasis on making the classes as enjoyable as possible and help the student see languages as a way of communicating and expanding one's understanding of culture rather than pure academic knowledge.

I have studied Classics for over 4 years, achieving a high mark (19.3) in the final exams, with particular interest in Modern and Ancient Greek. I then did a foundation year on Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and the past four years I was doing a double major degree at King's College London with a year Abroad.

After graduating from high school with a specialisation in modern languages and humanities, I moved to the United Kingdom to study Journalism. Living in London for over three years allowed me to perfect my written and spoken English. I specialize in teaching Math, English, French, Biology, History and Geography. My goal is to challenge the learner / student and so to speak, "let the brain work", but not too overwhelming.
I give homework if the parent is okay with it, and provide periodic progress reports.
I teach at locations such as in the park, at my home or with the student / pupil.

To start we will first talk about your experience and current skill level and then look at where you could improve on. We will discuss which areas you want to focus on, where I can prepare materials for you to get you more secure in speaking and writing the language depending on what your goal is!
I will then personally create and structure the lessons for you and help you wherever possible :)

Some sort of Homework or exercise will be introduced but of course in a fun way. If you want to focus on writing I can give you practice writing exercises and we can go over these together!

With English being a world language it has become an integral part of our society, especially in work and study related areas. Taking on English lessons with me will help you prepare for any language obstacles you have had up until now. My teaching methods vary from client to client and depend on their current language skills; writing essay type reports for school, reading and understanding the book all your friends talk about, or just to be able to have a fluent conversation, whatever the problem we can work through it together.

I immerse myself in the material that a student has difficulty with, in this case a language and/or a math problem. It is true that I am currently guiding a girl from secondary education with beginners French and German.
But the majority of my tutoring children come from groups 6, 7 and 8 of primary school.
