Conversation Spanish lessons with a native university student!

Hey! My name’s Lena and I’m a Graphic Design University student from Spain. I’m moving to the Netherlands this summer and thought it would be a good idea to use my spare time to teach Spanish! My lessons would be based on conversation, no boring textbooks or anything like that. I also don’t mind what your current Spanish level is! Even if you don’t speak a word it can be fun to learn little by little! I’ve also tutored English before, but never Spanish so I think this would be a good opportunity to teach others my mother tongue and show you my culture !! I have a part time job, so we can schedule our meetings around them, also we can just work it out so it suits you as well.

My student-centred, needs-based classes are exclusively aimed at committed advanced teenagers and young adults who wish to improve their EN language skills and excel. Having started teaching when I was 15 (seriously!), I take pride in knowing what students want and need, relating to them and meeting, if not exceeding, their expectations.
I have taught in Greece, Spain and the UK in a British Council-accredited school. Along with my 15-year experience, I have obtained CELTA and have also acquired a Postgraduate (Level 7) Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DipTESOL). For me it's very important to have engaging and fun classes, so you get to feel how amazing studying Spanish really is! We will talk a lot, play games, write recipes (and maybe we can even make them)! Anything fun you can think of, we will do, but in Spanish!

Always wanted to learn Spanish, but the regular lessons go too fast and/or it doesn't stick, then follow these tailor-made lessons.

Why class for 40+, because we have learned from our own experience how difficult it is to learn another language later in life and that most books/courses are based for younger students.

All lessons are adapted to your individual needs and speed.

You do not need to purchase any books, all materials will be delivered by email. This is because we work with several books and in this way we can offer a lot of learning material and thus make the learning material varied (and also rehearse more often if necessary.)

There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons, you are the one who determines the frequency. Of course you can also do these lessons with your partner.

Lessons are given online via Skype and last 1.5 hours at a time.
Lessons can be given during the day or in the evening.

I use grammar books but also online exercises or games on paper depending on the needs and profile of the student.
