Learn the guitar in English from a university-trained American guitarist with over 30 years of experience teaching children and adults. In this class you will learn depending on your level, you will learning basic to more advanced chords, strums, and picking patterns that are essential in playing popular music. Have fun whether you are new to the guitar or have some playing experience. Based in Aix.

I may be able to provide a guitar (i have a limited quantity of guitars)if the student doesn’t own one yet and wants to try out the instrument; or I can help the student to purchase his own guitar.

I am passionate about teaching guitar and sharing my knowledge, skills, and experience with anyone who has an interest in learning the guitar. I am very patient with my students and I believe there is no such thing as “one size fits all” when it comes to learning the guitar. I immediately focus on the needs of my student; and from there I plan an enjoyable program for my student to become a great guitarist!

California State University at Northridge in 1999, receiving a BA Degree in Music, specializing in Music Education and in 2005, receiving a California teaching credential in Multiple Subjects, and in Music.

Over 35 years of playing the guitar and studying privately, and in a university in the areas of folk, rock, jazz, classical, and finger style.
