I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

The classes could be rigorous or lenient depending on the student. There will be periodic homework and I'll make sure that the student achieves her/his desired goals.

TECNOLOGÍAS PARA EL APRENDIZAJE.

Mi nombre es Laurie y soy profesora FLE independiente, graduada en Lenguas y Literaturas Francesas y Románicas desde 2012. Tengo cinco años de experiencia a mis espaldas (en el extranjero y en Bélgica). He creado un método de aprendizaje para cursos en línea.

El curso incluye:
-El material (artículos, vídeos, ejercicios a partir de imágenes y textos, teoría gramatical, enlaces a los ejercicios...). Utilizo Google Doc, por lo que es mejor tener una dirección de Gmail para acceder a él.
-La corrección de ejercicios fuera de clase (las expresiones escritas se corrigen fuera de clase, o con el alumno, según sus necesidades).
-Acceso a una aplicación (gratuita) para estudiar vocabulario en tu smartphone.
-Una hoja de vocabulario - pronunciación - gramática / conjugación, enviada después de cada curso.
-Si es necesario, una grabación de vocabulario (para principiantes).
-La realización de ejercicios y tests online a partir de las fichas de vocabulario enviadas.
-Motivación, risas, buen humor :-)

Mi método:
- Se basa en hablar.
-Para gramática utilizo el método de preguntas/respuestas (aprendido durante la formación en el centro CERAN).
-Trabajamos la pronunciación con el método verbotonal (ejercicios de fijación de la voz, de ritmo, etc.). ¡Quizás incluso te haga cantar! :-)
-Todo pasa por la palabra hablada antes que por la escrita, pero me adapto claramente a las necesidades de los alumnos.
-El curso es un poco diferente para niños y adolescentes: utilizo juegos interactivos y cartas vía webcam.

The TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bachelor is one of the most prestigious bachelor programmes the Netherlands has to offer. Na jaren als groepsleerkracht (groep 1 t/m 8) te hebben gewerkt geef ik nu online begeleiding en bijles aan leerlingen die net dat beetje extra hulp nodig hebben. Met mijn ervaring en vakkennis bied ik persoonlijke ondersteuning bij verschillende vakken en help ik kinderen goed voorbereid naar de middelbare school.
