Hola a todos y todas! Este curso ofrece un amplio repaso por la Historia, no solo de España, sino del mundo. No hay mejor manera de conocer nuestro presente, que conocer nuestro pasado. En este curso se ofrecen clases sobre diferentes temas de la historia y por supuesto la preparación de estudiantes para exámenes de los cursos de ESO y BACHILLERATO, adaptándonos al temario y a las necesidades de los estudiantes.

Usaremos tanto el material de trabajo del propio alumno (apuntes, libros de texto...) como material propio para esclarecer ideas y reforzar el conocimiento de los estudiantes.

¡Hola! Soy Gonzalo un profesor apasionado de Historia. Ofrezco clases interactivas y divertidas donde exploraremos juntos el fascinante mundo del pasado. Con mi enfoque pedagógico adaptado, te ayudaré a comprender y apreciar la importancia de los eventos históricos en nuestra vida actual.

Mis clases abarcan desde civilizaciones antiguas hasta eventos contemporáneos. Juntos exploraremos temas como la Edad Media, Revolución Industrial, guerras mundiales y movimientos sociales, entre otros. También puedo adaptar las lecciones a tus necesidades o seguir un currículo escolar específico.

Reconozco que cada estudiante tiene diferentes formas de aprender. Por eso, me comprometo a adaptar mi enseñanza a tus necesidades individuales. Trabajaremos juntos para establecer metas claras y diseñar un plan de estudio que te ayude a alcanzar el éxito académico.

History and politics have always been a passion of mine and I am very much willing to teach anyone who desires any tutoring. At times it can be very difficult and overwhelming if you need to make an exam or write an essay - I can be there to help in case you need guidance! The goal here would be to make you understand history better, organize patterns in your head and possibly make you love the subject! This should definitely help in either expanding your worldview, or enhancing your history grades. I am willing to teach history (or politics/maatschappijleer) in Dutch or English.

I have little preference in regard to eras or themes in history, but if you must know I especially enjoy political and military macro-history. The grand patterns throughout history fascinate me, with of course, attention to large events. No era or area is particularly strange to me, again, being able to process history is the goal here!

The grand goal is to get a basic, intermediate or advanced understanding in one of the subjects. I could, possibly, rehearse with you and ask you how fluent you are in the topics at hand. I am fully willing to adapt to the student his or her academic needs. In case you wish me to help you in structuring or writing a history essay, then this, too is no problem!

I completed the IB DP with a consistent 7/ high 6 in Higher Level History, and this has always been one of my favorite subjects. I am very good at this subject and have somewhat of a passion for it. I have a very good grasp of what is expected from the IB students as pertains to this subject, and I know the ins and outs of the criteria and the weird and wonderful little ways in which the IB expects the students to perform. I am able to help with any course work, homework, assignments, or assessments. As pertains to the DP students, I also did my EE on a History topic so I can assist there if need be. I am also a tutor in English and as comprehensive writing and legibility is a large part of what is expected from IB History students, I can offer particular insight into how to best write and get arguments across.

The subjects of World History and Social Studies are often left aside as they are seen as less useful that the other subjects, but I believe children can learn a lot from observing and learning about what happened in the past and what happens today. I want to share my knowledge about these subjects with them while also helping them managing the knowledge they already have and need to learn. In schools, history is often taught through learning dates and events but history should be taught in the form of a story, which is easier to remember, and the useful information will stick longer.
I am willing to help my students with the homework they have as well and teach them some skills in how to organize and manage the work they receive.

I have teaching experience in international schools in Qatar, Italy and the US with students in middle school and high school, having taught the American curriculum and the International Baccalaureates curriculum.
