I'm a CELTA-qualified native English teacher with extensive teaching experience with children and adults. Progress is rapid when teacher and student connect, so this is, for me, the most important factor in my approach to teaching along with having some fun! Each course is tailor made for the student's needs and goals. What I offer: Weekly Lessons 1-to-1 and small group lessons. You can choose the frequency and duration. These are tailor-made lessons, so you decide which skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) you would like to emphasize and how much homework you do. Summer courses Intensive tailor-made 1-to-1 or small group intensive courses (10 or 15 hours a week) for adults and children. Groups are limited to 3 participants. Conversation Groups During the once weekly meetings you will practice your speaking and listening skills by participating in discussions about articles, TED talks, short stories, or subjects of interest to you and the group. This can help improve your confidence, which is the key to learning any language. Business English I also help with everything from preparing for an interview or speaking in meetings, to giving a presentation. I can also provide assistance with pronunciation and communication issues in International companies. Location I'm flexible and can teach online (on zoom or skype) or at a location in south west Haarlem.
