My name is Maïa and I work as a legal assistant in The Hague. I've been giving spanish lessons for 6 years now, and it's an activity I really enjoy! My objective is not to give purely theoretical courses but to play on the pragmatic side. Indeed, I give a lot of importance to speaking and listening. I encourage my students not to be afraid to speak in Spanish and to overcome any existing barriers to the language. While teaching them the essential rules of Spanish, I allow them to develop the language through games for the youngest, and short film clips for the oldest. However, I often leave homework to my students. Indeed, in my opinion, you can't improve in a language if you dont be diligent. In addition, I generally adapt to the student's interests to allow him/her to be more attracted to what I teach.
