Hello, I am Josh from Australia and I currently live in France. I am an English teacher and tutor. My approach to teaching is based mostly on the Communicative Method. Everything we do - reading, writing, listening, grammar has an end goal of serving a communicative purpose. I do not lecture, and I try to keep my talking to a minimum. It is about You, and you should be talking the most. I like to elicit and get a lot of information from my students', that helps in building their confidence in the language and reducing my teacher talk time. And finally, my approach is FUN. We need to enjoy what we are doing. I create lessons that are engaging, motivating and interesting. We need to have a laugh and not take things too seriously. Language is play and play is fun, if it's not then we will get bored. I have been teaching English for over 8 years now in a few different countries. I love teaching English and getting the most out of my students. I take a great interested in supporting you in your language journey and success. With me, I will support you, challenge you, and create lessons specifically for you. That way, you will enjoy the lessons and see improvement. Generally, I create a lesson built around a theme or topic and from there I introduce a 'bite size' instruction for revision and practice. For example, a new grammar or vocabulary topic.
