Hello! My name is Frida, I'm 26 years old, and I'm studying German Language and Literature at UNAM. I'm currently specializing in teaching and have taken/are currently taking a course through the Goethe-Institut for teaching German (DLL). I also recently passed the Goethe-Institut B2 certification. I started teaching German in early 2021, as the pandemic caught me in the middle of a trip to Switzerland, and there was quite a lot of demand from the Latinos and Latinas I met there. It's worth mentioning that I also lived in Switzerland for a few months. Shortly after, during my trip to Europe, I volunteered in Romania, with a German couple (we took care of their horses and their crops), and later at a dog and cat shelter, where I helped communicate with people who wanted to adopt a dog or cat from a German-speaking country. I've been learning German since 2014. My main motivation was German music, although I'm now also interested in other aspects of the language, such as its history, culture, and literature. Mis clases son principalmente online, trabajamos con varias plataformas en línea y con diferentes libros especializados para la enseñanza del alemán como lengua extranjera. Me gusta hacer las clases interactivas y divertidas, para ello usamos música, juegos, podcasts, videos, películas, entre otros. Trabajamos todas las habilidades que son importantes al aprender una lengua extranjera: oral, escrita, auditiva y lectora, además de temas gramaticales.
