Jean-Baptiste est un musicien français accompli, Producteur, performeur, DJ, artiste multi-médias et globe-trotter de la musique.

Jean-Baptiste a participé à de nombreuses formations musicales depuis le début des années 2000 (Lovely Rita, Le Bonhomme Rouge, Manawa...)

En 2013, JB décide de donner naissance à sa propre identité artistique: Dipolair

En 2013, en parallèle de son groupe Manawa formé à Maurice, il crée “Men vs Machines” avec Swal, un autre producteur français. Le duo va crée un set live puissant de musique électronique.

En 2015, après son installation en Asie, Dipolair crée “Kalikot”, une performance live de musique électronique, qui combine sons, lumières et vidéo-projection.
La même année, il forme le duo “NMation” avec la chanteuse Canado-Philippine Nykó Macá. Le projet est basé sur le mélange entre la musique électronique, les sons tropicaux provenants d’Afrique, du Brésil et les rythmes caribéens. En parallèle, Dipolair développe une série de performances appelées “Polycyclic” dont le thème principal est le concept de Cycle/Boucles, avec des collaborations avec des beatboxers, danseurs, peintres et comédiens.

En 2016, Il produit son premier album solo, “Moments”. Avec cet album, Dipolair s’immerge dans la musique Deep House et Ambient en mettant en avant Piano et Synthés.

En Septembre 2018, Dipolair est récompensé d'un Tanit d'Argent aux Journées Musicales de Carthage dans la catégorie Electro.
Fin 2018 et après 2 années de création, Dipolair produit et interprète le spectacle musical et visuel pour enfants "Ouvre Tes Rêves".

C’est sur scène que Dipolair développe tout son potentiel. De scènes intimistes aux plus grands dancefloors, il enflamme le public avec une approche dynamique et spirituelle de la Deep House et de la Melodic House avec des DJ Sets aux sonorités ethniques.
C’est encore plus présent dans son set Live “Odyssey”, avec machines et musiciens acoustiques qui donne une nouvelle dimension à son approche unique de la musique.

Dipolair est en recherche constante pour ses performances. Il explore de plus en plus les liens entre le son, le visuel et les interactions homme-machine.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

This class introduces the core concepts of film scoring and how music shapes story, emotion, and narrative in film and television. Students will learn how to support and move images through music, exploring timing, mood, theme, and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and level, from complete beginners to advanced composers, and can focus on electronic, orchestral, or hybrid approaches.

The course also includes analysis and deconstruction of existing film scores to understand compositional techniques and storytelling strategies. Students will learn how to set up and optimize their digital audio workstation for film scoring, define personal creative goals, and work with industry-standard orchestral sample libraries and synthesizers such as Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, and Cinematic Studio Series. Films with sound design and no music can be provided for hands-on scoring exercises, enabling practical experience working directly to picture.
