Suzanne geeft pop en musical zangles. Tijdens de lessen werkt Suzanne niet vanuit 1 bepaalde methode. Ze kijkt naar wat de leerling nodig heeft en past de lessen daarop aan. Daarnaast is ontspanning en plezier erg belangrijk en is jezelf kunnen zijn en je eigen verhaal kunnen vertellen het ultieme doel.

'Het vertellen van een verhaal is wat mij betreft het aller-belangrijkste tijdens het zingen. Als je weet wat je zingt zal de luisteraar jou veel beter begrijpen en komt jouw stem en verhaal nog meer binnen. Juist als beginnende zanger of zangeres is het vertellen van een verhaal erg belangrijk. Misschien dat je nog niet helemaal tevreden of zeker bent over jouw zangstem. Dit heeft tijd nodig, je kan nog veel leren. Wel heb je invloed hoe jouw stem en verhaal overkomen. Sommige stemmen raken en die stemmen worden onthouden.'

Tijdens de zangles ga je opzoek naar je eigen zangstem.
Dit wordt gedaan vanuit de spreekstem en op deze manier kan iedereen leren zingen.
In de les(sen) gaan we gezamenlijk opzoek naar jou stembereik en de daarbij passende nummers.
Een les start altijd met een opwarming van de stem met diverse toepasselijke oefeningen en daarna is er ruimte voor het zingen van een liedje.

Wat kan ik jou leren?

- Durven zingen (daarin je eigen stem ontdekken)
- Basis kennis zang: ademhaling, mondstand, ademsteun
- Tekst beleving (hoe vertel je een verhaal met een liedje)
- Diverse technieken/effecten: gebruik kop/borststem, belten, twang

Zorg ervoor dat je altijd een flesje water bij de hand hebt om de keel goed te hydrateren tijdens het zingen.

Mijn naam is Suzanne en ik ben een echte creatieve duizendpoot.

I am a professional singer, singing teacher, and vocal coach with an extensive academic background in singing. I studied singing and also singing pedagogy at the University of Music in Viena and I have more than 20 years of professional experience in teaching and on stage. As a vocal coach, I can help you to prepare performances, recordings, and for auditions.

Knowledge about the vocal organs and their interaction with the breath helps us to train our voices effectively, to create sound consciously, and to advance in our singing, while respecting vocal health, and the uniqueness, range, and capacities of each individual voice.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.

During this class we will put a special focus on improvisation and expand the thematic of Level 1 & 2. During this course Davide will talk about all the most common vocabulary of bebop improvisation skills: Arpeggios, Scales, Diatonic Approaches, Chromatic Approaches, Double Chromatic, Triple, and the most efficient ways of studying them as a vocalist.
