Über mich

I'm a French engineering student currently working at the UPV university in the chemical engineering laboratory. I was lucky enough to take part in the highly selective French classes préparatoires programme, in which I was able to develop many scientific skills as well as English and philosophy. I've been giving private lessons since the age of 17 because I love sharing and learning.

My aim is not to force students to work, but to share my passion for science with them. I can also work with groups, such as siblings. This can be interesting and motivating for the students. I remember how challenging it was when I first learned to break forces into components for Newton's Second Law or tackle finding the maxima and minima of complex functions. It wasn’t easy, and I struggled just like many of you. But with great teachers and persistence, I eventually mastered those tricky concepts. Those experiences taught me how to guide others effectively in physics and math.

Teaching has been my passion since high school when I started tutoring classmates after school. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that moment of realization—the “ahh, I get it now” expression on a student’s face. What started as a hobby has now grown into a decade-long journey, turning my passion for teaching into a fulfilling career.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Physics with a strong academic background, holding both MS and BS degrees in the field. Hallo! Ich bin Natalie, 23 Jahre alt und Studentin an der Universität in Koblenz, Deutschland. Ich studiere Grundschulbildung und schreibe im Moment meine Masterarbeit in Valencia. Ich biete schon seit einigen Jahren Nachhilfeunterricht für Grundschulschüler, innen und für Schüler, innen bis zur 7. Klasse in den Fächern Deutsch und Mathematik an. Durch meine Tätigkeit an der Deutschen Schule Málaga in Spanien im Jahr 2022 sowie durch weitere Berufserfahrung mit Schülern, innen in Deutschland, konnte ich insbesondere viele Erfahrungen im Bereich Deutsch als Zweitsprache/ Fremdsprache sammeln. Außerdem habe ich gelernt Inhalte kindgerecht, mit Geduld und viel Freude zu unterrichten sowie mithilfe unterschiedlicher Methoden zu vermitteln. Spaß spielt bei mir eine große Rolle, um die Lust der Kinder am Unterrichtsfach nicht zu verlieren!
Dadurch, dass ich mir meine Arbeitszeit für die Uni selbst legen kann, bin ich zeitlich sehr flexibel.

Hello! I am Natalie, 23 years old and a student at the University in Koblenz, Germany. I am studying elementary education and at the moment I am writing my master thesis in Valencia. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish, but I am about to learn the language. I have been offering tutoring for elementary school students and for students up to 7th grade in German and Mathematics for several years now. Through my work at the German School Málaga in Spain in 2022 as well as through further work experience with students in Germany, I was able to gain a lot of experience especially in the area of German as a second language/ foreign language. In addition, I have learned to teach content in a child-friendly way, with patience and a lot of fun, as well as using different methods. Fun plays a big role for me in order not to lose the children's interest in the subject!
Because I can set my own working hours for the university, I am very flexible in terms of time.

I'm María, 20 years old, and I have a C1 level in English and a B1 level in German. I hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma and attended a bilingual school for 18 years. I'm also studying English (Business Intelligence and Analytics), so I continue to use the language every day. I spent a year of my degree on an international program in Germany, where I gained much more experience with languages, both English and German, taking subjects in English and interacting with people who spoke both languages. I am a student at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering. I scored 13.8/14 on the university entrance exams. I am familiar with the exam format and can help students prepare for them. I can also reinforce knowledge from other levels, making high school much easier.
