Hi! I'm Elea, a final-year physics student in Groningen at the University of Groningen. I graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program with Physics HL and Math AA HL, and I am aware of how difficult these subjects can be. I am an experienced teacher with a Master of Science in Mathematics. As I've studied my Masters in English and spent a year in Italy I also teach those two languages. Since 4 years I am teaching also German (DaF and DaZ).
I love learning languages myself, so I know where the difficulties are. The most amazing experience was when one pupil who I've taught his very first words in German could have a conversation with me. Moments like this fill me with joy and I am working for you to have those moments.
My lessons will be exactly made for you. If you want to learn conversations, that's what we are going to do. If you want to learn grammar, we'll have some grammar lessons.
My Math lessons differ a bit as most of the times there is not really a decision to make. If you tell me the type of exam you are preparing for. I will design a schedule with which we can achieve that goal in any given time frame.

As a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course.

Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions.

As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. Since the IB diploma covers a very universal curriculum and my knowledge of sciences/maths is solid, I can also help in tutoring of other systems.
