Soy Alejandra, violonchelista originaria de Panamá y residente en Bruselas. Mi trayectoria con el violonchelo comenzó en la Escuela Juvenil de Música del INAC, lo que me llevó a continuar mis estudios en la Universidad de Panamá. Apasionada por los métodos de enseñanza tanto tradicionales como innovadores, aporto más de una década de experiencia al mundo de la enseñanza del violonchelo.

Mi amplia trayectoria incluye la participación en festivales y proyectos internacionales en América y Europa. En Panamá, fui profesor principal de violonchelo en el Instituto Nacional de Música Narciso Garay y desempeñé un papel clave en la Red Nacional de Orquestas Infantiles y Juveniles de Panamá como coordinador nacional de violonchelo. En este cargo, fui responsable de diseñar el currículo de violonchelo y desarrollar programas para su implementación a nivel nacional. Además, durante este período, obtuve la certificación como profesor de estimulación musical temprana para niños de 3 a 6 años. Esta certificación enfatiza un enfoque de desarrollo integral para los niños a través de la música.

Have fun learning your favourite songs and playing guitar. We offer tailor-made online guitar lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. All lessons are customized to your skills and goals goals.

Lessons are centered around two principles:
1. Teaching the basics of guitar technique: reading notes/tabs, analysis of melody and harmony, ear training
2. An open approach focused on learning to play your favourite songs

Levels:
Beginners will first learn the basics, such as tuning, posture, basic technique, reading tablature, and playing elementary chords. After ten lessons you will be able to play basic chords and single-note melodies. You will already be able to play your favourite music!
If you are already a more advanced player we will work on improving specific technical and musical skills such as soloing, improving your sound, and learning genre-specific techniques.

Guitar Styles:
You can choose almost any music style you want to play: Pop, rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, flamenco, and classical.

Having difficulty with guitar lessons in English? Don't worry: lessons can be held in German, Italian, French and Dutch

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam).
I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have fifteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).

In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.

I have always been passionate about music, I play three instruments, and I recently finished my piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Piet Kuijken. Myself, I have been studying with Prof. Viviane Spanoghe in Brussels Royal Conservatorium and I was perfecting my cello playing under the watchful eye of recognized musicians such as prof. I obtained a Master Degree in Cello Performance Diploma with great distinction at Koninklijk Conservatory Brussels and I have a wide experience as an orchestral and chamber musician. Hello to everyone!
My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist.
All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.
I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
In what consist my lessons?
Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument.
To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you.
As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you!
For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!
Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher.

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.

I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students.

A seasoned and passionate musician since the age of 15, I gave my first lessons more than 10 years ago. I am an excellent pedagogue, and I adapt to the level of the student, whether in terms of technical mastery of the instrument, ability to read notes (or tablature), as well as understanding music theory and of the theory. I put myself at the service of the student, his level and his tastes and musical projects. I have a thorough knowledge of music theory, particularly in jazz, and a long experience of playing together (jazz, rock and progressive metal). I can thus provide the theoretical elements necessary for the student to fully appropriate his instrument, at his own pace, and be able to play in a group, invent bass lines, improvise and compose pieces.

The bass is the most important instrument in a musical ensemble, whether in jazz, rock, blues, funk, metal or pop. She is the benchmark for all other musicians, she defines both rhythm and harmony, and she literally makes the bodies of the listeners vibrate.

Posture and comfort with the instrument are the foundation for playing the guitar. I often make the connection with other musical instruments such as percussion, wind instruments and singing.

Separating and understanding the roles of the two hands is another important step in the course. One hand plays the rhythm and the other plays the notes on the fretboard. There are many exercises to develop the knowledge and skills of both hands.
