Depending on each individual students need I would target them to maximise their potential by showing my students how exactly we can overcome hurdles and move past them. As well as this I take on a more mentor focused approach in which I set up my students with revision tools that will boast useful in their future academic endeavours as well as answering and explaining hard to understand concepts easily. Having a more friendly approach means I can more easily communicate and provide help especially when students are sceptical of the true benefit of how they are being taught. This would result in both academic and personal growth that would stick with them for the rest of their academic and professional lives.

I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

The classes could be rigorous or lenient depending on the student. There will be periodic homework and I'll make sure that the student achieves her/his desired goals.

I am a cum laude Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft and have helped other pupils with their problems since 2017. With my calm and stepwise explanation, a second view of the solution procedure is given, which is often what is missing. Ik ben gespecialiseerd in het geven van wiskunde. Ik geef wiskunde aan alle klassen en niveau’s van het VO. Mijn doel is om de lestof zo begrijpelijk te maken dat leerlingen geen moeite meer hebben met hun struikelblokken. Ik bespreek altijd eerst de lesstof en daarna laat ik leerlingen zelf de opgaven maken en spring in als leerlingen ergens op vastlopen. In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.
