Welcome to Jason’s English Confidence Course, where I help you master IELTS speaking and Business English in a supportive, engaging environment. Using Cambridge Mindset and Assessment titles alongside custom gamified activities and real-paper practice, I’ll guide you through targeted pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary drills, interactive role-plays and authentic exam-style tasks. Each 60-minute session is tailored to your goals—whether you’re prepping for presentations, emails or the IELTS exam—and comes with personalized feedback to ensure you keep making progress. Classes run weekdays from 6 PM and weekends from 1 PM Vietnam/Beijing time, with flexible scheduling to fit your busy life. Let’s build your fluency, accuracy and confidence together!

A few things to keep in mind before our first class: I’ll send all lesson materials and your homework via Google Drive a day in advance, so please make sure you have a stable internet connection, a headset and a quiet space. We’ll meet on Zoom (I’ll share the link after you book) and record each session so you can review it later. Homework should take about 10–15 minutes, and I’ll give you personalized feedback right after class. If you ever need to reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours beforehand. Payments are handled securely via PayPal or bank transfer. Feel free to message me any time if you have questions or want to share your goals before we start—I’m here to help you succeed!

Über mich

I’m Jason, an English teacher based in Da Nang, Vietnam, with over ten years’ experience teaching one-to-one and in small groups using Cambridge Mindset and Assessment materials. I specialise in IELTS speaking, Business English (Market Leader, Business Result), pronunciation and vocabulary, and I love creating gamified, story-based lessons and real-paper exam practice tailored to each student’s goals. I teach weekdays from 6 PM and weekends from 1 PM (Vietnam/Beijing time), recording every session so you can review later, and I’m always flexible with scheduling and ready to give personalized feedback to help you build confidence and fluency.

I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Animation & Motion Graphic Design from a UK university, and I’m TEFL-certified. I’m currently completing my iPGCE and planning to pursue the full PGCE (and QTS) to further my qualifications.

I always loved learning languages! I’ve studied German, Latin, Spanish, and Vietnamese- I understand how HARD IT IS TO LEARN ANOTHER LANGUAGE! Yes, it’s hard! But I’ve been using a dynamic method to make learning FUN 🤩.

I realized the best way to teach is so my students feel relaxed and comfortable so it doesn’t feel like a class, the course is more like a conversation with a purpose.

As an American, I have a very clear accent. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations with a minor in teaching from Pennsylvania State University as well as a TESOL (international teaching certificate) from Oxford. I have Vietnamese residency.

I spend a lot of time using different materials (mock tests, pronunciation correction plans,
diagrams and videos of how to effectively pronounce difficu sounds for Non-native speakers as well as quizzes to track progress).

I want my students do well but have fun while doing so! 😃

If a student ever wants to do something differently about our course then it is changed immediately. I am a flexible instructor, and teaching for a long time I have seen many people are surprised how quickly they’re improving in one part of their learning plan so we move on 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️
