Need a little extra help in music theory? Not sure how to prepare for an ensemble audition? Struggling with tough percussion excerpts? Want advice about pursuing music beyond grade school? I'm here to help! I'm a college student based in Bellingham, WA, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in music performance with a concentration in percussion. My area of expertise is in symphonic/classical music, namely a wind band/orchestra setting. I am studying music theory, ear training, and piano, and I feel comfortable offering help in these subjects through a high school level. I am an experienced performer, so I am comfortable coaching auditions and practice lessons. I have learned a lot of tips and advice from peers and mentors as well as personal experience, and I'd love to assist younger musicians in their journey!

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.
