Hello! My name is Fanny. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong and the United States. My students are ranged from young beginners to advanced college students. My goal is to share my knowledge of playing the piano and music with my students. Students are assigned to different repertoires and assignments according to their interest and their needs.

I love teaching and I love playing the piano. My interest and study of piano pedagogy allow me to explore different styles of teaching and learning methods. My students are assigned different assignments and repertoires according to their interests and their strengths/weaknesses. I hope to bring joy to every piano lesson and share my knowledge with my students!

Piano lessons with Dr. Fanny- over 25 years of teaching experience.

I am a professional pianist and piano instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong and the United States. I earned my Doctorate in Piano Performance in 2022 and maintain an active international performing career, including a recent appearance with the National Symphony Orchestra in Lima, Peru. I am familiar with a wide range of international music examination systems, as well as student festivals and competitions. In addition, I have been invited to give masterclasses in Hong Kong, Peru, and the United States for both college and pre-college students. Currently, I am on the faculty at a community college. As a piano teacher, my goal is to cultivate in students a deep appreciation for music while fostering a meaningful and engaging learning process at the instrument.
