I am Japanese American and have lived most of my life in Japan. I am very passionate about teaching Japanese—not just because I can, but because I truly enjoy seeing people grow and become more confident in their language skills.
As a native Japanese speaker, I bring a deep understanding of the language, but I also have first-hand experience learning a new language myself. I understand the challenges, frustrations, and dedication it takes. That’s why I believe the teacher plays a key role in shaping a positive and effective learning experience.
With this in mind, I am committed to creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can progress at their own pace.
My teaching focuses on real-life communication, building a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing systems (Hiragana, Katakana, and basic Kanji). I also incorporate cultural context to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. I use a mix of structured lessons, conversation practice, and fun activities to keep classes interactive and effective.

The technology to improve your French. Classes with a certified native teacher.

Hello Bonjour!
I am a native French teacher and a graduate in French Philology since 2012. I have 10 years of experience in Belgium and abroad. I offer online classes using a method that I have developed over the years, specifically for online classes.

*My method:*
-During class we focus on speaking. Outside of class, I will send you exercises that I will correct every week (grammar, conjugation, writing...).
-I use a particular technique based on questions/answers to apply the grammar when speaking.
-I use the verbotonal method to correct pronunciation.
-You will also receive access to an application for your Smartphone (to learn the vocabulary).
-Use an interactive whiteboard.
-We will use a shared online notebook to correct your exercises and ask me your questions at any time of the day.

I offer preparation for official exams (DELF, DALF, TCF, EOI, FIDE in Switzerland...). Classes for beginners, intermediate or advanced levels. Preparation of conferences or talks for business people. Job interviews.

I offer Japanese lessons that focus on grammar and vocabulary—both common difficulties—as well as spoken language. The goal of the course is to cover the technical aspects of the language without being overly theoretical or academic.

In my lessons, I combine the theoretical aspect of the language, which is essential for speaking correctly, with the practical aspect, which enables one to express oneself clearly and interact effectively with native speakers – while maintaining a certain distance from both sides.

Through my experience in interpreting from Japanese and my stays in Japan, I can convey a natural and spontaneous approach to the language.

The course focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and writing (kanji). From the perspective of an Indo-European language speaker, the course aims to help learners acquire the structure of the Japanese language naturally, freeing themselves from any possible unconscious biases inherent in their own language.

I also place particular emphasis on the connection between written and spoken language—an aspect that often seems surprising in Japanese—so as not to separate the two elements.
