I've conducted scientific research with several teams including groups at the Columbia Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. I also have a background in writing and editing. I wrote for The New York Observer and have worked as a freelance editor for academic manuscripts and science papers.
