GCSE: Latin Language and Latin Literature Lessons.

I am familiar with many examining boards, such as AQA, OCR and Pearson Edexcel.
My goal is to:
- Provide personalised support to help the student overcome their academic challenges, instilling confidence in the topic.
- Strengthen the student's understanding of exam board 'Assessment Objectives', equipping them to approach exams strategically. (Exams are like a game - knowing the rules makes success easier).
- Enhance writing skills by reinforcing PEA structure (Point, Evidence, Explain) for clear and effective responses.
- Offer practical advice on revision techniques, study tips, and tools to boost the student's performance.
I achieved A* in Latin at GCSE in 2017, without dropping a mark I scored 100% across all four papers (400/400 UMS).
I earned an A in Latin at A-level in 2019.
I was offered a place to read Classics with English Literature at Edinburgh University in 2020. I studied Latin for two years at Edinburgh, before dropping it to complete my undergrad in only English Literature.
I graduated with First-Class MA Honours in English Literature in July 2024.
My goal is to:

I am a 23-years-old graduate from Edinburgh University with first-class honours in English Literature. I am eager to leverage the skills I have honed throughout my degree, including critical thinking, writing and literary analysis, in a role as a personal tutor.
I am also well-equipped to tutor Latin language and literature, having studied it until my second year of university. Additionally, at school I achieved an A at A-level and scored 100% UMS across all modules at GCSE.
I am also a passionate artist, having achieved A* at both GCSE and A-level. I further pursued my interest by studying Art at Foundation level after leaving school. I have continued this passion throughout my time at Edinburgh, attending weekly life-drawing classes to further develop my skills
