I am a graduate of international relations from Scotland and currently work as an English Language Assisant at EPCA in Aigle. I have over one year's experience teaching English as a second foreign language and have helped sudents pass their Delf B2 and university english proficiency exams (TOEFL, IELTS and the new Duolingo). I have done this in structured formal teaching environments and in informal private lessons. I have taught in the international school sector and I have worked with students from the age of 4 to 64.

I can provide remote or in-person lessons. I will do my best to supply resources but I may encourage you to purchase some books and materials. My lessons will mostly be delivered in English to help you improve faster, but I can use French when necessary. My style of teaching also focusses on making a weekly study plan to help you achieve your learning goals so I require you to be determined and commit to a program.

Learn English from a native English speaker. I was born in the UK, though having been raised internationally, I have learned and mastered 2 other languages myself (French and German) and have found that the workplace can be one of the most challenging places to be when you do not speak the language everyone else speaks.

Even if your company operates in German or French predominantly, often times there will be clients or other international offices where English is required. There is nothing worse than being in a meeting, or on a conference call, or even getting a coffee and not understanding the conversation.
