My name is Patricia. I'm a certified native Spanish teacher. I've been teaching Spanish and English as foreign languages since 2004, and I've fallen in love with my job a little more every year :)

I studied Spanish Philology and Literature and learned how to become a teacher at Universidad Nacional de Salta, Argentina. I've also completed a specific ELE training certification from Universidad Europea Madrid, and I'm certified as DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes.

I'm a committed, responsible, and professional individual who is always eager to learn new things and is continually engaged in ongoing training. My patience knows no limits, and I can find a thousand ways to explain something if necessary.

I can make a course specifically tailored for you, according to your knowledge, needs, interests, and requests. In more than 20 years of teaching, I've never given the same course twice. I am a very experienced teacher in Dutch as a second language. I love working with people from other countries because it widens my view and apart from teaching you a new language, I will learn from you about new cultures. For me, learning a new language is first of all learning to get around in daily life. So, a beginners course will always start with this basic information: introducing yourself; making appointments with the dentist, hairdresser, and so on; shopping; going to a restaurant; etc.
On an intermediate level, we will work on your speaking skills: having a conversation with your colleagues about your weekend, reading a newspaper article and talk about it; talking about your hobbies, etc.

Depending on your request, the class can focus on the improvement of your oral or written competencies. If you want to learn grammar or master your letter writing or comprehension skills, we will work on that. In case you want to maintain the level of your understanding and oral abilities, we will improve that.
