My name is Francesca, and I am half Italian and half British, though I was born and raised in Italy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Leiden University, where I graduated cum laude.

Currently, I am completing a Research Master's program in Political Communication at the University of Amsterdam and a one-year Master's in Political Science at Leiden University. With a strong academic background in Political and Communication Science, coupled with practical expertise in essay writing and research methods, I am well-equipped to tutor high school and university students in their coursework and help them achieve their academic goals. In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach.
