My name is Sharon. I am a math teacher and have been teaching for 22 years. I have taught at VMBO, HAVO, VWO and MBO at various schools in Amsterdam. I can help students at all these levels, but also help with math tests or math tests for HBO. I get along very well with pupils and students. I am a cheerful and spontaneous teacher, who likes to joke. Mathematics is a serious subject. We see it everywhere in society. It doesn't matter what kind of further study you are going to do or what kind of work you are going to do.... you will always have to deal with mathematics and/or arithmetic. I have a lot of patience and perseverance. I can explain the material well, so that a student always understands it. Of course this does not have to be done in one go. I explain it just as often and in so many different ways until a student understands the material. I always try to use examples from everyday life to make the math or arithmetic clear. I will give the lessons online for the time being, so that you can learn in a familiar environment. I rewrite the theory and transform the abstract matter into language that is easier for the student to understand. After an explanation of the material, I will discuss some sample problems and there is also some room to ask questions about homework. If a backlog has arisen, we first start by eliminating this backlog. I do this in addition to covering the material, which is covered in class. In my career I have helped students who had developed a real fear of mathematics. They successfully passed with high marks. I believe that anyone can learn anything if you have the time and attention for it. A student learns easily if he/she likes something. I'm sure someone will like math after my explanation.
