I'm an Oxford graduate who has been helping university applicants with personal statements over the past few years, a number of whom have secured places at Oxbridge. Before applying to university myself I spent a lot of time with a number of different people who helped guide me with my personal statement and the rest of the admissions process. I now aim to pass on to others the insight I gained from these experiences. In a personal statement session, I will set out the structure of a great personal statement and work with the student to identify the content which will allow their application to stand out amongst those of other applicants. For those applying to Oxbridge, I am happy to help with course choices, college choices, expectations of the Oxbridge lifestyle, and understanding the difference between Oxford and Cambridge. I have also run a number of mock interviews for applicants based on the experiences of myself and other Oxbridge graduates to ensure that students feel more comfortable and prepared for the real thing.
