Je m’appelle Valentina et je suis passionnée par l’enseignement des langues depuis toujours. Je suis née en Italie où j’ai fait toutes mes études. Je vis au Luxembourg depuis dix ans où je suis devenue formatrice en langue italienne dans un premier temps pour différentes écoles de langues et dernièrement en travaillant en tant que indépendante.

My name is Valentina and I have always been passionate about languages. I was born in Italy where I did all my studies. I have lived in Luxembourg for more than ten years where I became an Italian language trainer initially for different language schools and lately by working as an independent. I had the pleasure of giving my courses to private companies, public administrations, banks, law firms and students of all ages and language levels. During my videoconference lessons, I use modern and creative methods that stimulate learning in a fun way such as images, videos, role plays.
You will learn the culture and the Italian language by means of courses adapted to your level, your requirements and your pace. If you already have a good level, I could help you pronounce the words correctly by rolling the Rs like real Italians through conversation lessons!

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

I offer mathematics tutoring for children and teenagers.

My approach goes beyond simply teaching math. My main objective is to help students learn how to learn. Many students struggle not because they are “bad at math,” but because they were never shown how to understand, practice, and think independently. That is exactly what I focus on.
