I love to teach math in a way that is most suitable for the learning style of each individual student. I include real-life examples to show that math is something we can connect to in everyday life, assess the understanding of the subject, repeat what needs to be clarified, and practice, practice, practice with my students. I also have a PhD in marine biology (Australia) and am a native German speaker. Therefore, if you need help in biology or you prefer you lessons in German that won't be a problem.

My name is Saskia and I am a qualified secondary maths teacher (University of the West of England). I worked in schools in the UK, Norway (International British School) as well as in Germany and taught the English (similar to the Australian), the IB, as well as the German curriculum. I was always very passionate about mathematics and already tutored maths as a high school student. Besides mathematics I also taught science at school and in private. I love teaching – in particular 1:1 and help students thrive and achieve their best !!!

Besides mathematics, I am very passionate about the environment and I completed a Masters in Biology in Germany and a Ph.D. in Marine Biology in Australia.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs.
