Hi there :)

I am offering private cello lessons for all ages, beginners to advanced. Available in person in Basel or online.

My name is Idil, I am a cellist from Portugal and Turkey, based in Basel.

I have experience with teaching both children and adults. I like to approach the lessons in a fun, interactive and creative way, while developing and honing technical skills. I like to play together with my students during the lessons and I also give basic music theory foundations.

I find essential adapting to each person's individual needs and musical preferences, so that you feel inspired and motivated playing the music you're passionate about.

The lessons are offered in English, Portuguese, Turkish or German.

The lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 mins, according to each persons needs and preferences (and the price will also be adjusted accordingly).

My name is Idil. I am a concert performer and pedagog, based in Basel.

I have around 7 years of experience with teaching both children and adults. I like to approach the lessons in a fun, interactive and creative way, while developing and honing technical skills. I like to play together with my students during the lessons and I also give basic music theory foundations.

I find essential adapting to each person's individual needs and musical preferences, so that you feel inspired and motivated playing the music you're passionate about.

I have classical music foundations, but also enjoy playing jazz, rock, pop and bossa nova.

During my lessons I will adapt to the student and the type of musician in front of me. I like deepening the technique of the instrument, but the ultimate goal is to use this technique to better express music in all its facets. My name is Iago and I am a cello teacher with two master's degrees from the Hochschule für Musik Basel. I have a Master's Degree in Pedagogy and a Master's Degree in Interpretation, which gives me a solid theoretical and practical foundation to guide your learning.

Mein Name ist Iago und ich bin Cellolehrer mit zwei Masterabschlüssen von der Hochschule für Musik Basel. Ich there was a Master-Abschluss in Pädagogik and a Master-Abschluss in Performance, was mir eine solide theoretische und praktische Grundlage gibt, um dein Lernen zu leiten.
