I am an experienced mathematics and physics teacher with state-recognized bachelor's, teacher training, and master's degrees. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in mathematics education.
My classes are designed for those who want to overcome their learning difficulties (and have fun doing it), with a patient teacher committed to student development, which benefits their entire education. I strive to give my students the opportunity to discover how mathematics is present in everyday human life (to help people meet their basic needs) and in nature. I try to explain the content of the theory and its applications whenever possible, demonstrating the relationship between this content and the human needs that have led to its historical development. I try to help students successfully solve problems related to the theories by guiding them step by step through the solution (to promote their competence, autonomy, and confidence in problem-solving), by asking questions, and, when necessary, by providing further examples and explanations that can lead to a deeper understanding.

In my classes, there is no criticism or pressure, there's no room for fear of making mistakes (mistakes are part of our learning process). The atmosphere is joyful and healthy, which encourages students to be themselves and feel free to learn, explore, and ask questions in peace and joy. Mathematics is my passion, but I know its not for everyone. Sometimes the material is covered badly in school or at Uni, sometimes you just missed something or do not understand a concept. Whatever the reason might be, my goal is to teach you the material in such a way, that eventually you'll learn how to comprehend new concepts on your own.

During my tutoring I focus on explaining the material in an extensive fashion, so that while solving excercises you develop a connection to the concepts and ideas. Thus not learning a specific "way" of solving a problem, but rather gaining an intuition for it.

One experienced method, which might not be met with the biggest enthusiasm, is extra problems which I would like you to solve at home. I know it is an extra workload, but nothing comes for free. The excercises will be tailored to you and give you the extra needed repetition of the material.

A short note about myself: I am a masters student in pure Mathematics with focus on Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Number Theory. I have tutored over 40 students in 6 years.
