I am a dedicated and experienced Greek language teacher based in Thessaloniki, with a strong academic background and a passion for education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education and have completed two Master's degrees: one in Language Education for Refugees and Migrants, and the other in Adult Education. With over 8 years of experience in delivering Greek classes, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse backgrounds and various age groups.

Hello everyone! I am an experienced, qualified English teacher from the UK. I speak Spanish to intermediate level, and a little Greek and Arabic. I have a first class bachelors degree in English Literature and Sociology from The University of Leeds in the UK.

I have experience teaching all levels from children as young as 5 years old to proficiency level students. I have taught many different exam boards including IELTS, Cambridge, Trinity and Michigan so I can prepare you for your exams.

My lessons are tailor made for my students. In the initial classes we can discuss your weak areas and I can assess what grammatical or pronunciation areas we need to work on.

Most importantly, my classes are fun and inspiring. I can come to your house, or you may come to mine if you live in Thessaloniki area. In addition, I do online classes.

When the sun shines, a Walking Lesson through one of the most vivid historical centres, the one of Thessaloniki’s, is a MUST! Wander through Rotonda, Galerius Arch, Palace, and the White Tower, strolling along the port of Thessaloniki. Learn how to greet and order in Greek tasting Greek coffee and the famous «mpougatsa » in Navarinou Square; try to read texts of Ancient Greek philosophers or Greek poems sitting on a bench in front of the sea. I am Assistant Professor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. I studied History and Archaeology, I hold a Master of Arts in History, a Phd and Post-doc in Literature for children and young adults and I am a tutor for adults, cerified from the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance. I have 13 year of experience in helping children and adults to learn Greek through specialized courses and to get acquainted with the Greek Culture (Literature, Ancient Greek Mythology, History, Conversational Greek, Walking Greek Lessons, Greek Poems and other interesting ways for practice, such as visits to the museums and cultural sites of Thessaloniki).

I prepare people for exams in the Greek Language-Ellinomatheia levels from A1-C2 and help them to obtain the Certificates from A1-C2 level by the Greek Ministry of Education.My aim is also to help and keep my students motivated and more enthusiastic about the Greek language, etymology, History and culture, make them able to communicate in Greek and introduce them to the Greek habits and traditions.
