Are you struggling with Maths? Do you want enrichment? Do you just need help with a piece of work or a particular project?

I can help, and being experienced with the European Baccalaureate (European Schools), Cambridge IGCSE and CIE A-Level and also IB you can rely on over 30 years of expertise working with individuals of all ages.

I offer Maths enrichment classes, homework support, home-schooling support, preparation for exams and Mathematics for the workplace, tailoring the content to your need. If you are in Rhode-St-Genèse, Waterloo, Fort Jaco, St. Job, Holleken or Linkebeek I can come to you but I am also skilled at online delivery having taught remotely throughout the pandemic so distance is no object via technology. We can share a whiteboard and I use a visualiser so you can easily see how I model my explanations.

The sessions are more efficient if I can prepare in advance (just like I would for classroom teaching) so if you can send the material you need help with or a list of topics then so much the better.

Über mich

I teach Mathematics and have over 30 years of experience working with people of all ages. I offer Maths enrichment classes, homework support, preparation for exams and Mathematics for the workplace, tailoring the content to your need.

I have taught and tutored a wide range of courses over the years; Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level, IB Diploma and MYP and also the full range of courses offered by the European Schools. I am a UK-Belgian national and am UK qualified and trained. I have taught in Belgium, the UK, West Africa and South America. I am very used to teaching non-native speakers of English.

I can come to you as long as you are fairly local to me, based as I am in Rhode-St-Genèse. Waterloo, Fort Jaco, St. Job, Holleken and Linkebeek are in my usual reach. I also am very experienced with online teaching should that be required.

It is worth adding that I hold a current Extrait du Casier Judiciare Central, which is Belgian Government clearance to work with young people.

So whether you are struggling, need a refresher course, need support for upcoming examinations or want enrichment activities to supplement the school diet, I can help.

I do not expect my clients to have to see me every week, I also work on an as and when basis. Because of this, I do not take a lot of clients as I prefer to be flexible. The guide times indicated below are just that.

Bachelor of Science with Honours (Newcastle-upon-Tyne), Certificate in Education (Garnett College), Post-Graduate Certificate in Overcoming Barriers to Learning Mathematics (University of Worcester).

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I have over 30 years teaching in schools, both in the UK and abroad. Having worked in South America and West Africa, I have a strong multi-cultural background and speak French and Spanish too, although the latter is very rusty these days :-) I am also a qualified Chair Yoga teacher.
