Hallo allemaal! My name is Ayumi and I am 23 years old. I am half Italian and half Japanese and I would like to offer you the possibility to learn or improve in both my native languages! I have 3 years of experience as a freelance language teacher and I like to use personalized learning methods according to your needs, aims and, of course, classes have to be fun, pleasant while helping you in reaching your objectives.

I was born in Japan and moved to Italy from a young age, but I always practiced Japanese at home and regularly went to Japan for summer study programs.
During my undergraduate studies in France, I started teaching part-time Japanese and Italian.

Last year, I had the chance to work as a teacher again, together with some translation and interpreting services in Japan.
I am very passionate about helping people with language learning processes and sharing with my students my knowledge of my two cultures!

That's why I believe that language classes should follow the student's personality, interests, and objectives :) I am also prepared to assist for official language tests.

When teaching, my main interest is always "how can I help you more"!

Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language?
I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with.
