I specialise in teaching the A-level course 'Philosophy and Ethics' which is about critical thinking and developing dynamics of society.

This is a particularly good choice for students that want to pursue a career in medical science or law.

This course has three sections to it - Ethics, Philosophy and Christian Thinking.

My goal is to keep students engaged with the philosophers of Ancient Greece and challenged, but not overwhelmed with baffling psychological theories of conscience; among many others.

Alongside these educational theories and developments of thinking I will teach students the correct structure of essay writing for their arguments - ready for the real exam.

I assign homework after each lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

I am currently a second-year Biomedical Student at the University of Hertfordshire.

I have 9 GCSE's (Triple Science, RE, Geography, History, Maths, English Language and Literature) at Grades A-B.

I then attended Sixth Form in which I achieved A*-B's in Health and Social Care, Applied Science, Philosophy and Ethics and an EPQ (the A-level version of a university dissertation 'final project') on 'Alternative Treatments of Cancer'.

I have had previous experience with teaching Triple Science, on a different online education platform, and my student transitioned into sixth form with 6-7's (A-B's in the old curriculum) to pursue her future in medical sciences.

I have had other experiences with teaching secondary age students, during my time at sixth form; as I would support my teachers as an assistant during free periods.

Due to my experiences and academic background, I tailor my teaching styles for each student differently so that all ages and abilities can learn successfully at their own pace.

This further teaching of the course, as a complete A-Level, is more based upon modern situations and applications of philosophy and ethics that surround us.

Alongside these educational theories and developments of thinking I will teach students the correct structure of essay writing for their arguments - ready for the real exam.

I assign homework after each lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

I specialise in tutoring Triple Award Science for secondary students (Yr 9 to Yr 11) which prepares them for GCSE exams in the future.

I teach the new curriculum (1-9 grades) for Triple Science and use education boards such as AQA, Edexcel and OCR 21st Century - among others.

I like to assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports after exam practices in order to support students further.

I have previously taught Triple Science before and my student achieved 6-7's (A-B's equivalent) that allowed them to transition to sixth form to pursue their career in medical sciences.

I also tailor my teaching style for each student so that any age and ability can successfully learn at their own pace.

Philosophy lessons at Terminale, Hypocagne, Khâgne and University level

Practical work throughout the year:

General introduction to philosophy for all terminal students
1) -Familiarization with the major fields of philosophy (Epistemology, logic, metaphysics, ethics, aesthetics) (2h min)
2) -Introduction to the history of philosophical ideas (1h30)
3) -Introduction to Greco-Latin etymology (30 min)
4) -Introduction to the currents of Greek philosophy (1h)
5) -Introduction to the main currents of modern philosophy (2h)
5) -Initiation in the use of computer and office tools (optional)
7) -Introduction to the methodology of the dissertation + writing of standard dissertations under the aegis of the teacher (8h)
8) -Introduction to the methodology of text commentary + joint writing of your first text comments (8h)
Students can attend the class collectively, which will allow them to share the costs.

B) Courses for pupils of Ter in difficulty:
For those who are struggling in philosophy but who do not want to be penalized by the discipline on the day of the Bac test, we will find a solution to get you out of the rut.
It is not necessary to be a great reasoner to obtain the average on the day of the Bac test; it is enough to master the grammar, the syntax of French and the methodology of the text commentary to obtain an honorable score (the academy forbids us not to give the average to the copies clearly Written and respectful of the philosophical methodology).
