English literature exam preparation class (GCSE level)

I specialize in teaching English from Nursery to KS4 and SAT/exam preps. My goal is to help improve students’ all-round ability in English. These classes will provide a balance of practice in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills and will also cover grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
A coursebook will also be used during lessons. I additionally assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

Über mich
I pride myself on my excellent communication skills and friendly demeanour. I endeavour to tutor seriously although I`m naturally quite a laid-back person, which is quickly recognised by pupils and puts them at ease. I also relate well to pupils because the age gap is not so large. Students often look forward to our lessons, which they say motivates them and helps them to learn. I really value getting to know my students individually and enjoy learning from them through conversation. I like to provide homework tasks as they're for students benefit - i.e. will cause no stress/anger if not completed (unless parents think their children need a gentle nudge into action!) I provide textbook recommendations and I can be very flexible with lesson days. Past parents and students echo my sentiments, as proven by my reviews.

A History undergraduate studying at the heart of London, Queen Mary University. I am currently in second year and hope to continue teaching as an extra-curricular activity and because it also helps me to connect with my own university course.

Not only did I succeed in helping students raise their grades an average of 30%, I also have numerous amount of experiences either teaching online or face-to-face private tuitions. With online experience, I am proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and many more. I also obtain exceptional knowledge of online tutoring techniques and troubleshooting procedures. I have additionally worked at tuition centres with children from different age groups and stages which has allowed me to multitask and adopt different teaching strategies. With private tuition, not only can I identify, select, and modify resources to meet students diverse needs and integrated worksheets to vary lessons and consolidate concepts however I easily establish and create relationships so pupils can understand and maintain trust.

I specialise in teaching maths to a number of classes and pupils. My goal is to make sure learners acquire a sound knowledge of numbers, measures and structures, basic operations and basic mathematical presentations, an understanding of mathematical terms and concepts, and an awareness of the questions to which mathematics can offer answers. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.
Sociology adopts the perspective that individual behaviour can only be understood by studying people's social context and their webs of connection. This can lead the sociologist to many different topics of study from reproduction of inequalities in relation to social categories (such as race, class or gender), to the shaping of intimate relationships by wider cultural contexts, or the generation of resistance and protest by economic trends and crises.
