Specialised tuition from a SEND specialist tutor. I have over a year of tutoring experience with a range of ages from 5 all the way to 18, tutoring primary maths, GCSE science, English, and maths, and A-Level Biology and Chemistry.
Our sessions will be comfortable and relaxed and we go at your pace. I encourage open communication and aim to make tuition the best experience for all students. I have experience working with students from all sorts of walks of life, from students in SEND schools just needing confidence, to students just needing that little boost to get to where they want to be. My sessions are creative and engaging, and I try everything I can to make them as enjoyable as possible. I am known to get very creative with my teaching methods. Book learner? No worries I have exam techniques and exam questions galore! Note packs and summary notes. Visual learner? Not a problem. I have diagrams, videos, and real-life examples. Still struggling? I will find a way. I have been known in the past to take bizarre paths to make things make sense, for example, my tutor friends mostly know me for my use of Minecraft to teach algebra! It is particularly popular with my autistic/ADHD students as it offers a visual :)

Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material.

The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home.
