This class is for learning how to read the Arabic language in addition with learning Tajweed.

We will go over a book’s curriculum from learning the Arabic alphabet to being able to read from anywhere in the Quran with correct pronunciation and tajweed rulings.

(This class isn’t necessarily for understanding the Arabic language itself, if you wish to learn how to and how to speak the language then please refer to my other class on the subject).

Hi there, my name is Khalid and I am an Arabic language tutor. I find a great passion for expressing and teaching the language I do dearly love, and I truly believe that anyone can benefit from learning this great language through many ways, whether it be religiously, socially or even economically.

METHODS OF TEACHING:

•A unique personal method of memorising new vocabulary to hasten your understanding of Arabic
• For Arabic Reading Lessons I Will Go Over The Curriculum ‘Al-qā’idatu ‘Al-nūrāniyyah’ which will go over everything you will need to know for Arabic reading

EXPERIENCE:
I have experience in teaching beginners how to read Arabic and how to speak it. My sessions on reading were revolving around tajweed for the Quran. Even when I first started I was able to teach it in a very simple and concise manner in which all my pupils understood and benefitted from, I was able to accomplish the level of teaching the basics even when I was still in the pursuit in learning more advanced fields of the language. In other words I learned quickly and was able to adapt so ‘god willing’ I can overcome any challenges.

I have taught and tutored children of various ages and even young adults, most of the tutoring I have done rather recently have been with people I know personally. Along with being praised for my methods of teaching from those greater in this field than I, I have also recognised the great advantage of this site’s flexibility where I can set my own hours. So for those reasons I have finally decided to start tutoring online.

In addition to this, I really hope I can help others with their goals in learning Arabic, as a religious man not only is it righteous of me and a want to do this, it is also a duty for me.

If my hours of teaching aren’t flexible for you then we can discuss further and hopefully I should be available for you.

I have studied all my life in the city of Nottingham where I have completed both secondary school to where I then. Moved onto college. I acquired GCSEs from levels C grade to B grade.
I have studied or benefitted under graduates of madinah university regarding Islamic studies
And have learned tajweed under hufadh (memorisers of the Quran) as well as those firm in that field.

Experience: Teaching children how to read Arabic in mosques, tutoring children and young adults 1 to 1 tutoring with people I know in person.
Great experience in tutoring others in person and I have published educational videos via social media teaching others.

Arabic is a wonderful and beautiful language to learn. It is known as the most elegant written language with over 400 million people who speak the language as either a primary or secondary language. Importantly might I add, this language is vital for anyone practicing Islam as it’s widely understood as the key to understanding the religion as its scripture was revealed in the very language. Even for non Muslims learning the language can still be of great benefit as it can open up great business opportunities in Arabic speaking countries.

•This course will be great for understanding Arabic texts such as the Quran, hadiths and even non Islamic texts. Lots of teaching opportunities can be granted from learning MSA (modern standard arabic) as not all Arabic speakers speak in the same dialect, and teaching the MSA dialect is on high demand.

•Through my course you will come to know at first, basic Arabic vocabularies and we will touch on some grammar here and there to enable you to speak from a beginner to a native speaking level. All I ask is for anyone who is interested to lend an ear.

•With my unique method of teaching you will quickly pick up new information from my lessons, whether it be tajweed or Arabic speaking. (Depending on what you wish to cover with me 1. Arabic reading with tajweed, or 2. Learning how to speak Arabic. This class is for speaking Arabic if you wish to learn how to read the language from scratch then please refer to my arabic reading class)

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.
