Programming is becoming more and more required both in industry and in research. For some, it can be challenging to grasp the concept of programming, but I believe that with the right guidance, it is absolutely attainable.

I have six years of teaching experience at the university level, mostly Matlab, but also Python and Fortran. I also have a strong background in Data Analysis and machine learning and have used a variety of related software, such as WEKA and SPSS.

I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). Chess is a fun game that starts with the basic rules and moves through the 3 parts of the game: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame.

The focus at first is to teach you how the pieces move, what the goal of the opening is, and how the pieces interact. You will also learn the vocabulary related to chess and chess notation.

Tactics are then explored to take advantage of hanging pieces, lack of king safety, space, and tempo. From here depending on what your personal goals are we will adapt the classes to cover what will help you progress.

I offer both online and face-to-face training. For online training we can use Discord, Skype or Zoom.

The training is adapted to the needs of the student. During the lessons, we work together to identify the student's weaknesses and work specifically on them.
I was first introduced to chess at the age of 5. At 17 I joined the Düsseldorf Chess Club and at 18 I headed a primary school chess club.
I have a Chess.com online Rapid Rating of around 1650, which puts me in the top 2% of rapid chess players on Chess.com.
I use a large part of my free time to improve my chess skills by working through books, solving problems, playing games, analyzing them extensively and exchanging ideas with other players.

My name is Vladislav, I'm 20 years old, and I've been living in Vienna for two years. I'm a FIDE Master with a rating of 2384, winner of the 2025 Vienna State Masters Championship, and a prizewinner of the 2025 Memorial Korchnoi. I also successfully passed the 2025 MedAT with 84% – this demonstrates that I learn in a structured way, develop strategies, and can convey complex content in an understandable way.
