Hello everyone,
My name is Pancevski Filip and I am an International Master. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience, and I have had more than 50 students from all around the world. I have had students from all levels, so I can help you whenever you are beginner, intermediate or advanced player.
I started playing chess when I was five years old. Since my beginnings I have had a coach and attended a chess school, so I know how important is to have someone to guide you and help you along your chess journey

I became IM in 2008 and since then I have two norms for Grandmaster, and I am trying to get the final norm so that I can become a Grandmaster. So far I have been 6 times champion of my country Macedonia, and I have played for the national team on 5 Chess Olympiads.

My name is Daniil, and chess has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old. Passionate about this fascinating game since childhood, I've played hundreds of competitions and won dozens of youth and adult tournaments.
For the past 10 years, I have been sharing my passion for chess as a teacher in various settings: clubs, primary schools, secondary schools, private lessons, and associations. I also teach in English and Russian.
Furthermore, I graduated from the Sorbonne with a Masters in international strategy and business intelligence.

Some figures to know me better:

• 20 years of experience in club and competition
• Official 1900 FIDE / 2400 Elo rating on online platforms
• More than 2,500 courses given to 1,000 students in group and individual lessons

My method is based on solid teaching experience and relies on a comprehensive and structured approach, suitable for all levels. It is based on three main axes:

♛ All skill levels are welcome, from the beginner eager to expand their knowledge, to more seasoned players looking to secure coveted chess titles.

● Progress in chess can be long and winding. And without a coach's guidance, bad decisions and the habit of "bad reflexes" become a drag that so many players have known.
That's why when you want to ensure long-term progress, taking the advice of an experienced player will cut you short from others, and encourage you to keep going.

● The goal of the first session together will be to determine with you what is best suited to work. An assessment of your strengths and weaknesses will therefore be made to allow yourself to plan a work program in the short and medium term. Having a clear idea of what we will be working together, and knowing what you can do on your own is essential.

● I can also prepare the study of any area that interests you. The goal being above all that your motivation and your pleasure remain intact.

➜ For the technical aspect, I use Skype to communicate, as well as the Lichess or chesscom interface (two completely free interfaces mainly intended for playing chess online) to share an analysis chessboard. It's very easy to use, and super practical!

MY JOURNEY

Now 29 years old, I had a fairly classic chess apprenticeship with my father at the age of 7. Showing more skill and interest there than judo and tailoring, I pushed open a club door, and it never closed.

I progressed throughout my youth, helped by successive coaches, International Masters or Grand Masters, until I became so in turn

Chess coach for over 10 years. I decided to professionalize myself at the age of 24, once my studies were finished and my title of Grand Master reached.
I am also coach of the young French teams, and preparer of the adult French team for several years.

Also a writer, I have published two opening books (The Modernized Reti, and The Modernized Dutch, at Thinker's Publishing).

I regularly do video series for Chess24, of which I leave you an extract!

Despite my player soul which means that I will never stop, teaching has taken precedence over my practice of chess, and it is a choice that I do not really regret, as the progress of my students can be a source of pleasure and satisfaction.

Chaque leçon est constituée d'une rétrospective du cours précédent (correction exercices, révision), du cours thématique, d'exercices à faire pour la prochaine session (si nécessaire) et de quelques parties pour clôturer la séance. Je reste disponible à tout moment (même en dehors du cours) pour répondre aux questions ou atténuer le stress de l'élève lors de compétition. La création ou la mise en forme du répetoire se fait selon les souhaits, les forces et faiblesses identifiées de l'élève

Après le cours, trois options sont possibles pour recevoir les supports pédagogiques :
* création de bases Lichess privées avec droit de contributeur
* création de bases Chess.com privées avec droit de contributeur
* envoi des bases au format PGN par mail (nécessite d'avoir un logiciel du type Chessbase)

Chess is a fun game that starts with the basic rules and moves through the 3 parts of the game: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame.

The focus at first is to teach you how the pieces move, what the goal of the opening is, and how the pieces interact. You will also learn the vocabulary related to chess and chess notation.

Tactics are then explored to take advantage of hanging pieces, lack of king safety, space, and tempo. From here depending on what your personal goals are we will adapt the classes to cover what will help you progress.
