Trumpet lessons focus on proper embouchure, breathing, and technique, exploring a love of music, how music works, different musical types and genres, why things work together they way they do, and composing music if interested. We individualize lessons and work with students as a team to reach goals they set for themselves. We encourage students to select additional pieces that they’d like to learn, teaching technique and skill while working on fun songs, too. We simply go at whatever pace is comfortable for you and go step by step together. We often upload audio/video to help during practice and are available between lessons to answer questions.

My studio is Malena's Music & More, offering music lessons, homeschool classes, and life enrichment!
I am a strong believer that everyone CAN and should have the chance to learn and grow, and that music adds enjoyment, satisfaction, and pleasure to people's lives.
Having a good rapport with students and families is of utmost importance.
I tailor all lessons to student's abilities, knowledge, interests, and preferences, while integrating music theory, and technique.
I offer several types of lessons online or in my studio in southern Maine, including piano, voice, trumpet, and flute. I have 2 other music teachers working with me, offering guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and violin.
I allow for students to declare a specialty, including but not limited to: classical, pop, musical theater, composition, improvisation, performance, and graded exams.

French 1B: Second Half of French 1 for High School

This course teaches the basics of French, conversation, and culture. This is the second half of high school French 1 and can be taken in middle or high school, or as an adult if you want to learn French at a slower pace (contact us for adults taking the class to be scheduled at a separate time).

This is a blended course; you'll have online assignments, and the class meets online Thursdays from 2-3pm from September through June.

I offer professional Brass instruments (Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba) lessons for children from the age of four, for teenagers and adults. Whether beginner or advanced, that doesn't matter to me. Every motivated student of trumpets is welcome with me. I see it as my job to promote the particular character of each student. Playing the trumpet is an art that is difficult to explain. To become a good Brass player, you need more than “just” to master your instrument. Practice is a basic requirement. Young Brass students, children in particular need the support and support of their parents in the learning process, but the joy in the practice lessons should not be left behind. The focus of my lessons is on conveying musical understanding, sound technology and music literature from classical to klezmer to jazz. Elements such as transpose, orchestral replacement and sight reading are also taken into account in the lessons. I accompany the students as they prepare for competitions and auditions. I am happy to support you in improving your stage presence. I offer one-on-one and two-on-one classes. I teach the pocket trumpet for children. HI! I am Lenart and I am currently a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. My desired goal as a teacher is to show you an easy and fun way to master a new skill or some new aspects of it, but not to fill your head with unnecessary things that will make your progress hard and slow.

Are you a Horn beginner or are you looking to develop your technique? Are you looking to have more fun with the horn or improve your artistic skills? I offer lessons tailored to your musical goals, and I am happy to work with you to develop your voice with the horn. I can give lessons in English, German, Portuguese and Spanish. Besides music, I have a keen interest in sports and sports psychology. This is also reflected in my teaching method as I incorporate strategies and exercises, that are not so common in the music world. These will boost your practice and enhance your playing, increasing your enjoyment and progress.

A bit about me: I have 2 Bachelor's degrees from the Portuguese National Orchestra Academy (Lisbon) and The Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and a Master's from the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany). I have played with orchestras in Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal, including Rotterdam Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Weimar, Staatskapelle Halle, Phion, Noord Nederlands Orkest and many others. Since 2017, I am a member of the Amsterdam-based, Intercontinental Ensemble. We perform concerts regularly throughout the Netherland and have released 3 CDs. In February, 2022 I graduated as a Jazz French horn player at the University of Music and Dance, Cologne in the class of Prof. Shannon Barnett, Hubert Nuss and Frank Gratkowski. Currently, I am doing my Master studies at the Kunstuniversität, Graz.

The trombone, trumpet or piano seem hard instruments to learn, but with the right approach it's a fun and enjoyable process filled with small tasks that will make you improve and have fun at the same time.
The same goes with music theory and composition; the classes are structured in a way that you wont feel overwhelmed with too much information because the goals and method will be set based on your level and needs.

Hi, I'm Bladimir - 19 years old - and I want to teach you how to swing the bow. I've been a violinist for several years and, in addition to the violin, I also play the trumpet; for about six years I played in various orchestras - in and outside of school. With me you can expect violin lessons in a relaxed and constructive atmosphere.
