my class aims at teaching basic Swahili for those struggling and those on path of language mastery. My approach aims at teaching the obvious areas usually overlooked. These entail: greetings, vocabularly in various language registers such as wildlife, kitchenry and various workplaces.

Grammar is essential for everyone and there is a need to sharpen it from a young age. Hence for the beginner level students get to learn vowels, pronunciations, greetings, consonants how to read and write in Swahili and English.

East Africa has great and amazing visitation sites and hence visitors are attracted. Swahili is commonly used in the region and for that reason I teach students the basics of Swahili to get to understand and feel confident and comfortable when speaking it.

The students get to learn to be confident in their grammar for both school work and for their interactions. I provide handouts in order for the students to understand and practice their skills fully.
