I have two years of experience tutoring children between the ages of 5-12, including children with learning disabilities. I am passionate about helping children to reach their full potential and gain confidence at school. I want to work with parents to help their children excel as I understand that it can be difficult to support children in their school work and examination prep without extra help sometimes.
I am an Economics graduate and have completed maths A-level and GCSE. And scored A* in both English language and English literature GCSE. I love maths and love teaching it and also am experienced in teaching comprehension and creative writing skills in English as well as Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

I love working with children who might have fallen behind at school and lost their confidence, and helping them to rebuild their self-confidence. I have noticed that the majority of students who are struggling at school often struggle with confidence issues. Maybe they feel embarrassed to tell their teacher that they don't understand something, or maybe they learn in a different way to their friend and feel disappointed when they don't excel in a particular topic or subject straight away.
As a tutor, I like to learn what my student's learning style is and cater my lessons to each individual student. I have a back-to-basics approach and like to help my students to build a solid foundation so that they can then have the confidence and the tools to tackle harder topics as they advance.

I have over 4 years of experience in teaching and tutoring English as a second language. I am currently a PhD researcher at King’s College London and run this tutoring business on the side, as I enjoy motivating students to learn new skills and overcome challenges.

I have studied English language and literature for all of my academic life and being multi-lingual (Fluent in Dutch and Sinhala), I understand how difficult it is to learn a language as a complete beginner. I am an empathetic and understanding teacher, but I also know how to push your limits and show you what you are capable of.

I will assign some, flexible homework for out of class, but most of the content will be addressed in the lesson. I am available to teach all levels of English or aid in English literature, but please message me for more information!

I am a 22 years old Belgian Female who recently moved in London in order to pursue my law studies. I completed my bachelor at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, and have acquired a lot of tutoring experience over the past three years.
