Hi everyone,

I am a Belgian student, currently, I'm in my first master's year at the KULeuven. I chose a master's in 'Rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy specialization musculoskeletal disorders'. During my bachelor years, I developed a very good basic knowledge of science subjects and mathematics: I studied statistics for 3 years, molecular cell biology, chemistry, physics, biomechanics, biochemistry and anatomy.
The quality of teaching of both the University of Leuven as the high school I went to (Heilig Hartcollege Tervuren) is something I am very happy/thankful for. I would love to share the education and the knowledge I acquired by supporting and teaching you or your child/teen. I would consider it as a sort of study pathway counseling. As I already have a bachelor's degree in one of the highest-ranked universities in Europe, I have a broad knowledge of quite some subjects.

I have a lot of experience working with children and teenagers, I have been a leader in a Scout for children aged 12 to 18. I have also been a tutor for 5 years now. I love working with other people as I am a very social, empathic, and motivated person.

I am currently studying in Leuven to get a master's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy. During my internships I figured that I also love teaching and helping people to get better. The same applies for tutoring: I want to help you or your child/teen to do better. I am good in motivating people to get the best out of them (is kind of my job as future physiotherapist and the power of motivation is even my master thesis topic!). I thrive on seeing people achieve their goals and I would love to be a part of that process to get them there!

I believe that language is a powerful tool today. Not only does it help us understand the world from a different perspective, but it also teaches us the culture of the people who use it. I have had the opportunity to work with teenagers for 5 years now as a student associate in a science center, as a mentor and a lecturer in a different field. What I have learned from that experience is that first and foremost one must become a friend with their student, to understand their needs and their attitudes. I will do my best to make the classes fun by combining audio and visual material in my teaching. My field of study is Social and Cultural Anthropology.
