I have started tutoring intensively since September 2013 in Malaysia and I specialize in tutoring math for O-Level and A-Level Cambridge (CIE) degrees. My goal is to motivate students to learn all fundamentals by heart in the first place and implement all gained knowledge in order to solve complex questions. Hence, various methods have been used to achieve this goal since I started tutoring and with the experience that I gained through the interaction with different students I was able to help them to achieve higher marks than their expectations.

I have been studying for Master of Civil Engineering at TU Delft since September 2017.
I have started tutoring intensively since September 2013 in Malaysia and I specialize in tutoring math for O-Level and A-Level Cambridge (CIE) degrees. My goal is to motivate students to learn all fundamentals by heart in the first place and implement all gained knowledge in order to solve complex questions. I am a MSc in Civil Engineering, M.Sc in Finance and Economics, and an MBA graduate with over 14 years of experience teaching Mathematics up to the undergraduate level. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students and have successfully helped them excel in their studies. In addition to my extensive teaching background, I have more than 7 years of experience guiding students through standardized tests such as the GRE and SAT. My goal is to help you master these tests with effective strategies and a clear understanding of the subject matter.

Course and support for mathematics, French or English for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Having obtained the International Option Baccalaureate (OIB) in Scientific Mathematics specialty with honors this year, I am bilingual in French and English, and I have a level of Terminale S in maths. I know how to give lessons to little ones by making the lessons fun, but I also understand the difficulty posed by the French baccalaureate, being myself there, and can therefore transmit my learning experience to high school students.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.

My goal is to explain sciences from a different perspective than your teacher/professor in school/university. I adapt to the student level and objectives, if it is going in full depth of a subject or just reinforcing previous knowledge. TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 10 students for the entrance exam.

Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time. These exercises will then be reviewed in the following class to ensure the topics have been understood.
